Unfortunately, Sentiments do not exist for any other Expansion except for Snowy Escape.
This lists the sentiments all players got for free. You can see the Snowy Escape-only Sentiments in the segment after this table. Because not everyone will buy that, I'm breaking sentiments into two sections. Sentiments came out only for Snowy Escape and the Sims 4 base game. This is a new feature that shows everything you know about a Sim, along with any Sentiments that are shared between them. When you click a Sim's picture you'll get the option to view Sim Profiles. While you can see Sentiments when your Sim is engaged with another in conversation, you can also go to the Relationships panel (Hotkey R) to see Sim portraits.
This means they have a new Sentiment you haven't yet seen. Also, you'll notice the glowing outline around two Sims.

When your Sim has four sentiments about another Sim already, the game will decide to replace sentiments based on the strength of the one it's trying to add and if you have any weak or near-faded sentiments. Sentiments come in varying strengths, with some lasting longer than others, but they all fade away over time. Your Sim may feel differently than the other Sim about a shared experience. Examples of Sentiments could be a romantic memory between lovers, a caring moment between a child and parent, or the bitterness of a divorce or cheating spouse.Įach Sim can have up to four Sentiments about another Sim, and these go both ways. Sentiments can be either positive or negative, and can change how your Sim behaves or give you various mood buffs when your Sim is around the Sim in question. I'm looking for more mods like this and Slice of Life (but not aggravating).The Sims 4: Sentiments Snowy Escape Brought a Free New Feature Sentiments are shown in their own section of the Sim Profiles, along with the new Lifestyles feature. I love mods that aim to add depth, like Zer0's Improved Relationships and Contextual Interactions. I suppose I'm laying out my problems with it so that it's easier to get an idea of what I am not looking for. I like a lot of the ideas and how they attempt to give the Sims more depth, but in the end, it's just aggravating.

I don't mean to shit on KawaiiStacie she's doing this for free and she's clearly passionate about modding. The acne system, sickness system, and pregnancy system were the first that I removed and over time I legit can't stand anything from the mod. How? She's spent the last two days alone and not talking to anyone. It says that your Sim seems to have "upset some Sims". The moodlet that precipitates those annoying drama texts is a tense one that "seriously?" and it lasts for 12 hours. And the drama system - it's a good idea, but super immersion breaking when my Sim's aunt, who is one of the most level-headed people I've ever played (she maxed her wellness skill!) gets furious because my Sim didn't respond to her text apparently which gives -15 to their relationship. Teens randomly get popular (I've read that it's influenced by your Sim's behavior, but I had a depressive Sim with legit no friends outside of her family get popular). Kids are constantly, arbitrarily getting bullied at school or pissing the bed for no reason, causing their hygiene to tank in the middle of the night. This is probably a worn-out subject, but I'm pretty tired of Slice of Life despite liking some of the ideas in it.
